Samsung SMX-C10: Sleek and Versatile Camcorder with an Ultra-cool Design

Friday, August 7th, 2009

To its long list of impressive camcorders Samsung Electronics has recently added another remarkable product Samsung SMX-C10. The first thing that strikes about this compact digital camcorder is its sleek design and cool looks, thanks to Samsung’s Touch of Color™ finish, but there is lot more to it that make its worth a shot.

Samsung SMX-C10 is a perfect companion for the people who really want to capture their lives to convert them into memories forever. The Samsung camcorder offers an impressive f/1.8-2.4 10x zoom lens, which allows you to record distant views in a better way, thus making the ground distance irrelevant. One of the common issues with taking long distance shots is that a slight movement of camcorder spoils the whole video. To account for that Samsung has provided Hyper Image Stabilisation feature which works towards eliminating blurry images and frames.

To make it more user friendly it features a 230,000 dot swivelling LCD screen which due to its 2.7 inch size gives a better view of what is being captured and allows it to be captured from any position and every angle.

Moreover, to make sure you can watch the movies and images captured by Samsung SMX-C10 camcorder on your laptop or PC without hassles Samsung has provided it with intelli-studio. The built-in program is a kind of play-edit-sharing application which ensures that a simple connection through USB is good enough to allow the user to edit or play the videos. It rids the user of the need to install some supporting software or anything. Though the camcorder is good, yet the Samsung SMX-C10 does lack in some desirable features. It doesn’t feature any internal memory and you’ll have to use SD/SDHC media to store whatever you plan to record. This really is a significant drawback except that in any case for sufficient storage space you always end up using the SD/SDHC media. Overall, Samsung SMX-C10 is a gadget that can be bought.
