The HV565E is the HD camcorder from the house of Hitachi. It has 2.5 inch LCD screen and has a manual focus system. Depending on the SD card used, the camcorder gives a recording time of up to 200 minutes.

The pocket camcorder can be operated in three modes namely video, stills and sound recording. The type of features and settings incorporated in this camcorder is quite unexpected for a model of this price range. Three resolutions are permitted in this camcorder, VGA, 720p and 1080p and each offers quality levels of economy, standard and fine. The optical zoom and digital zoom of the Hitachi HV565E are 5.0 X and 4.0 X respectively. It has an integrated microphone and connection ports are available for A/V and USB 2.0. The overall weight of the camcorder is about 162 g and has a CMOS image sensor. The modes available for video recording range from fully automatic to user specified. A number of pre-set features are available for spotlight, landscape, portrait, sunset, beach/snow, night and sport.
